May 20, 2017 marked our annual Endangered Species Day event held in conjunction with Buena Vista Audubon Society at their Oceanside Nature Center. Activities included owl pellet dissection, basket making with local Native Americans, live raptors and reptiles, journal making and seed balls, lagoon dip, tracking as well as a new bioblitz. And, of course, bird watching.
